VN143CR : Immune System & Oncology Nursing Care

This course focuses on diseases caused by disorders of the immune system. The student is provided with the knowledge necessary to use the nursing process in caring for clients with immunodeficiency disorders. The course includes oncology, its disease process, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities. Psychosocial aspects of immunodeficiencies and oncology are considered. A student who fails VN143CR will be withdrawn from the co-requisite course.
