VN144CR : Community Health Nursing Care

This course explores the role of the Vocational Nurse in community settings. Home health, hospice, and skilled nursing are discussed. The student is introduced to concepts of terrorism and bioterrorism. The student is provided with the knowledge necessary to use the nursing process in the delivery of comprehensive nursing care as a member of the healthcare team. A student who fails VN144CR will be withdrawn from the co-requisite course.
